I have a strymon Lex. Veredict: leslie simulation is pitch perfect; however, the pedal has one major flaw with a very noticeable volume drop. I suggest putting it in front of your signal chain

This isn't the greatest review but wow what an awesome pedal. I've had one for a couple weeks now and am still discovering different tones. Highly recommended

Cool pedal. How much did you pay for it? I want to get the Leslie sound which you can hear at the start of "Meadows" by Joe Walsh, and many songs by the band "Badfinger". It is the ultimate 70s Leslie-type sound. Thanks for using a Les Paul Standard-I use a 92 LP Standard and an ES-335, Gibson, not Epiphone. People usually use Strats so I can't tell what stuff sounds like. What year is your Les Paul? Gear Man Dude, or gearmandude (check out his gear reviews), calls them "Man Guitars for playing Man Rock." Cheers, S

The bypass thing is fair enough because while 1 or 2 buffers are good 11 not so nice (I have alot of buffered pedals on my board) but digital come on analog technology just can't emulate some things that well, has anyone made an analog amp that models multiple amps and pedals as good as an AXE-FX...... I think for drive sounds analog is great but for trying to emulate digital works pretty well.

That mesa was prob nice when it was new, I never get a guitar or amp in white

this demo was done in the "mono" mode, which is a real shame because this pedal really shines in stereo mode... the best auditions of this pedal are actually on the Strymer site. Top notch engineeering & great marketing: THAT is a company that has it's act together.

@PremierGuitar when using the rotary or any strymon product is it better to run it through the fx loop of the mesa amp because I own a 08 dual rec with a parallel fx loop and so I was wondering what's best.

This is way better. I spent almost $600 on that fricking Rotosphere when it came out. And you know what? It looked cool. But sound-wise, it added hiss and had a flimsy tone. This thing is half the price (and half the size) and smokes it. Still don't believe me? You can get the Rotosphere anyplace - the Lex has a big waiting list.

Hey, Jordan Wagner, I am sure that's your real name. Cool tats! Anyway, could you talk a little about the Boss TU-2 tuner pedal? How does that one work? I kid! Sorry. Strymon rules. If you're looking at this, hear me now or believe me later. This is the best leslie pedal out there.

How would you compare this to the H&K Rotorsphere?

@metalzone2000 It absolutely is True Bypass - check out the manual on the Strymon site..

@zachjal The Metal Zone is an analog circuit. It's not digital.

@Tibbon Speaking of sounding digital, his screen name is metal zone.
