Quite simple: They aren't. Blutengel certainly is not. Chris Pohl dresses as a vampire when he's signing as Blutengel; not simply dark style. There's a key difference. More importantly who gives a shit? Oomph! and Blutengel are both great. If you don't like Blut then don't listen.

You have to be young or retarded. Is every cake in the world a ripp-off? Both bands have some sort of of a dark style, both bands have german songs, both bands are manly enough to even with make up being still awesome. So eat goddamn both cocolate cakes and dont be stupid. Maybe if you want you can call the "style" kinda of "Gothic", but i dont think the bands are directly trying to be that, they are what they are.
