Met Vic during/after his performance at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor in about 2004. He told me to shut the f*ck up (on mic) because it was a pretty mellow set and I was drunk and singing along so loud, and "they came to here me, not you, motherf*cker." He was cool about it after the show. Such a songsmith. Damn it.

I booked Vic In Myrtle Beach in the early nineties. He played this albums show in the live venue at Club Zero. Afterwards we had a rave dance club and he would go out and spin around with the strippers and dance and get crazy. It was so much fun. He was a blast. He wasn't always so sad. We hung out at the beach late nite playing guitar ,cheesy covers for the girls, yes even Bon Jovi, and just chill out and have fun. Those we the good days. Wish he could have remembered a little of those times.

I too met Vic outside of Spaceland. We were born within three miles of each other... He was not into the collegial bond, but his music moves me....

One day ALL will know Vic, as one so much deeper then Dylan. Pain brings out the true arts, Vic carried enough for the whole state. I guess it was more then any one but you could carry, miss you Vic. Please donate to Vic's estate, he passed sadly in debt as most great artists in history...
