+BigG99 You are out of place on that. VCB did not purposely copy "Mighty to Save". Before you try to judge others know that your judgment in invalid. The only one that can judge is God. P.s. you might want to read your bible a little more

BigG99... it all sounds the same because it should! There's only one particular reason for all these songs and that's Jesus.. it's much easier for secular artist to be original with a song because they sing about endless topics where Christian music has one main topic, Christ. Why should we or even the artists care that others are singing and making alike songs... it's about Jesus and singing whatever is praiseworthy to Him. Plagiarism doesn't apply to songs of the Lord! That's petty worldly technicalities.

Hillsong wasn't the first band to coin phrases such as "Strong to save" or "might to save" and such. Its all in the bible. Most worship music (as should be) is inspired by the Bible. SO don't be surprised if lyrics seem similar to others. Worship music isn't about being original, its about lifting God up.

this song is the same as mighty to save. why does every Christian song sound the same? its lazy and manipulative if you ask me. we are manipulating worship through a particular sound. worship is being marketed. there is a big problem with that. BIG!
