Great man. I got to play steel with him a couple of times in church when he was preaching. Later he asked my family to tour with him in Europe, but obligations kept us from going. Wish we could have went. He called from Germany to try a 2nd time to get us to come over and join him.

Vernon was a very under rated singer. He was one of my favorite singers and i have a collection of his songs that i got straight from him. He was real big in th U.K. He really got screwed by Nashville. CARL
