Vernon Oxford - Sweeter Than The Flowers video free download

If you're wanting to find one of the PUREST country singers to emerge in the past 50 years, start at the back of the alphabet...and stop when you get to 'V'...it's there that you'll find Vernon Oxford.

Vernon has been recording since 1966, and, one of his finest releases was the 2002 Bear Family 5 CD collection "Keeper Of The Flame", which gathers together recordings from the very early days with RCA, through to his Rounder releases.

This track was recorded for Rounder records and released on Vernon's 1981 Gospel LP "A Better Way Of Life"...it is a wonderful remake of the 1948 Moon Mullican Country Gospel track.
