I'm not a religious man but my mother is and is 94 and in a nursing home. I've heard her pray for me so I cry everythime I hear this song, hell I'm crying now. I'm a 62 year man and crying because this man is not in The Hall Of Fame yet. Sure do miss you Vern.

A very beautiful song and I can certainly relate to it. Mama prayed for me I know. I am saved now and i pray for my children. I did not know Vern Gosdin had passed away. When and how???
