Veil of Maya has never stuck to one genre though they have been know as core through their first album and this demo song. I know who and what they are. I have been listing to them forever, so your opinion doesn't matter to me or anyone on this page for a Veil of Maya song. Okay find me a better band that can write complicated riffs, groves, melodies and the whole 9 yards like Marc writes within the deathcore genre. Oh wait you won't, because there is no band within Deathcore that can compare to VoM's level. Why? Because from this demo song to what they write today is amazing how far they have come and how much they have changed while keeping their signature sound while every band has those same stupid 50bmp breakdowns that I always hear and it just gets old, sorry

This song makes me have this chilling kind of passion and longing for how they used to sound even though I wasn't a fan of VoM until 2011, hearing him scream "We will never be the same" and having that mellow riff at the very end of this song just makes me wanna cry for some reason.

Ok, veil of maya clearly has better guitars, but have you listened to some of the not necessarily complex guitar work on bring me the horizons new album, cause they sound amazing.
