Ahhhh the 90's - people can argue about what decade was the best, but I grew up with all this music. Loved the 90's. Gigs and festivals nowadays is just missing something. It was exciting to go to a show and enjoy the music. Wish I could back again.

amazing...wish there were better audio recorders available in the 90`s, now that we have it 99% of the music is auto tuned, lip synched, computer generated, or just lame. I hate the trend where everyone is trying to sound like Mumford and sons, First Aid Kit, Monsters and men, irish-folksy yeedle deedle music.

So glad i was there for all of this music. Great time to be in my 20's and just go to shows with friends. Working in music retail and just being around people that shared the same sense of community and love for one another. It's an altogether different world now. There was no internet or cell phone cameras. Just great music, great friends, great times and great memories. So many shows, so many cd's, lp's and ticket stubs...and many other unmentionable things. Being able to do shit like see bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth, Tad, L7 or whomever for like 10 bucks a ticket. So glad I was there for all of those years. Best years of my life. Worth every single hangover.

What a wonderful age. When people used their own eyes, and not their stupid cellphones to watch the show.

What a special time in music..those of us who had a chance to really experience what was going on got to experience this enigmatic energy that seemed would last forever. Sadly, it did not however those who captured this era and who not only understood it but stood for it and let it stand for them; I don't know about anyone else but, I'm still the same person only, much nicer, a lot more understanding and much wiser. To think one day I would be 40 looking back in the mind of who I was then, I would have probably made sure I didn't go past 30. I am convinced that I wasn't supposed to make it this far-the evidence? I'm empty. Although I carry those traits mentioned above, it does nothing for me since the world around me has only become worse and as they say, oil and water do not mix.. While I'm grateful for the technology we experience today, I feel every thing else is tragic. But, I am also aware that my choices weren't the best and that I created this world of sorrow and as I stood in the center, I laid these walls brick by brick, barricading myself within my own work. I did it wrong.. but once upon a time I seemed happier and this era and the music of it is the soundtrack of it.
