Its amazing that this song is actually about taking Heroin, I wonder how many of them realised that when they agreed to do this.

this was first used when the BBC used to shut down around 1am every night it was played for weeks and became very popular so children in need made it their official charity single. Originally a bbc promo and a very good one.

Only possible thanks to the way the BBC is paid for by you. BBC is one of the few things that genuinely makes me so patriotic, and it's baffling how our MP's feel content with dismantling it in favour of a few lousy bob and Rupert bloody Murdoch. BBC forever.

I first heard this in about 2010 and fell in love with it. It's just a shame that all of the videos of it on YouTube aren't of a particularly good quality. Don't worry, I appreciate that the video is almost 20 years old!

Such a beautiful song, and I never tire of hearing it (listening to it)...Everyone fits in just purrrfectly! Some of the singers are gone, and that makes me sad, but I'm glad a legacy like this was left, with so many precious voices together...Farewell to you, Lou, David...(~_*)Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)Love Peace Music

Growing up I always thought that the way the choir sang "Reap" was very sinister. Made me picture the Grim Reaper with his scythe drawn, ready to claim my young soul...admittedly I was a strange kid...
