Originally from Melbourne, Vance Joy first appeared at local open mic nights. However his stand out voice and catchy songs about the joys of everyday life soon lifted him above the crowds and got him noticed. From the evidence of our session its easy to see his appeal which continues to grow with every show he does!

We met up with the man himself by a little hidden river in the back streets of Islington, an amazing place that could easily be the middle of the countryside (if it weren't for the occasional street sweeper anyway)!

Look out for him in the UK this February. He will be playing at the Scala in Kings Cross on the 11th of February.
