Hey this guy was good. I hope they go with either Sammy or Gary because DLR looks like he belongs in a nursing home because he is so old

The image Cherone went for killed his career as an important singer. He could have played this much smarter.

Gary was best singer in VH. He also wrote most of the songs on VH lll, forcing Ed to explore his musical capabilities.

I'm ashamed to admit that this is the first time I heard and saw Gary Cherone perform with Van Halen, and after countless of bad comments on other Van Halen video's about Gary being the lesser god compared to David Lee Roth AND Sammy Hagar, I'm quite surprised to find out that I actually think he is doing fuckin' great here. I loved the voice of DLR on Van Halen's first bunch of albums, and Sammy was a great vocalist as well (certainly in live situations), but Gary was great too. And refreshing. Off course I only just saw this one performance, so I'll have to check him out a bit more I guess, but I really do like it thus far. By the way, Anthony and Eddie ..., wow. They all can sing. Better than I can anyway. :-)
