We were cheering after the shock wore off that they actually showed up. They announced it on the radio just a little bit before it started and nobdy knew if it was for real or not. VH had walked off the stage at the Texas Jam the year before this and said later that they would come back and play a free show to make it up to us. To this day, I still ont believe that they rolled in and built a stage in the middle of downtown Dallas and just started playing. It was a very cool day.

@CRD26 ah please, get real, Hagar was a passenger from day 1 in VH, DLR may not have the voice he once had but Sammy is a has been & has been for some time, ha ha. Chicken foot is ok, but ask yourself, are they early in in for anything else but the cash? I guess it's a personal view point after all, I like Dave, not Hagar, i can't help that...

that screaming banshee does not have the better voice. the popular halen is Roth, Eddie, Al & Mike. This version of Panama has zero personality..that's what rock is ATTITUDE. Roth has it all. Showmanship

Sammy is a true to the word "rockstar" he was doing just fine before Van Halen. He was the best replacement for a frontman. They wrote good music with Sammy. A+ from this listener
