Pretty damn close. Nice job. You sound a little off key though. Half step down from E is where you should be. Still trying to catch that first lead part, but the camera angle makes it hard to see where you're at that far down the neck.

Eddie nailed a great tone with his EVH axis guitars. Kent you know a good axe! Ernie Ball had a great combo in their axis and Eddie took it another level. I spoke to Scott Ball via Ernie Ball service call. The EVH models had special wound pickups via Eddie specs, which Ernie ball couldn't use on other Axis guitars, and EVH Axis had a Gotoh Tremolo with offset saddles, also not used on other Ernie Ball Axis models. Scott Ball did tell me however the necks on EVH Axis guitars were modeled after the shape of Eddies 5150 Kramer with an asymmetrical shape. I was also told once Eddie left Ernie Ball he took the rights for the offset terms, pickups and neck shapes. The replacement pickups which closest resemble Eddies tone on this "Holy grail" combo guitar are the Dimarzio Tone Zone and Air Norton combo, and I was told if an EVH model is sent in for repair of pickups that set is used as direct replacement. Kent Carlevi rocks these "Holy Grail" guitars. Wish Eddie would bring back this tone, instead of his new EVH brand high treble Wolfgangs.

Dude I just want to say how much you have impacted me. when I was a little kid I watched this guitar cover, I had only a few months of experience on drums behind me at the time. And I thought to myself "wow I can do that if he can!". Now here I am, a 16 year old who can play all the instruments to be in a rock band by himself. I think without this video I wouldn't have found my passion for music. thank you so much man, it really means a lot.

This would be better without the guy in the background pounding nails with a hammer. That's what it sounds like. Redo it with a better drummer, or a drummer moved 50 feet away or something. I've always thought this tune would be better as an instrumental, without Sammy's vocals. And I was right. The drumming is the only bad thing about the video. Guitar is excellent.
