Any way you look at them. Van Halen marked a turning point in the evolution of rock & roll. And Roth was a master word smith.... That is all.

Anyone who disses VH no matter who the singer is, is just an asshole.I am not a fan of VH after Roth but I see no reason to rip them apart.Eddies had some tough struggles with dugs & booze & he's much older so of course it could never be the same.People need to see it for what it is.Not for what it was & trying to bring back the old days.It can't happen.Rock forth.
