Another unreleased tune, folks! Well, unreleased to the US that is (not counting the "Can't Stop Lovin' You" Single)... This song is a Japan Bonus Track on the Imported Balance CD if you can get your hands on one. In my opinion this is the coolest, darkest song they've ever written together. It originated in 1983 after one of Eddie's friends committed suicide and Ed needed to vent his feelings. Then after a few years of sitting on a shelf in 5150, they recycled this into a song about Ed Leffler who had just passed before the making of this album. If you listen closely in the second verse of the song, you can hear Eddie singing the original verses, since they never really got rid of the original track, just dubbed over it.
From Wikipedia:
The song was originally written and recorded by Eddie in 1983, shortly after one of his friends had committed suicide. The song was given a chance at rebirth after the untimely death of their manager, Ed Leffler, ten years after the track was originally recorded. On the left channel, played Eddie's music from 1983 on electronic drums; on the right channel, played the reworked song with guitar, bass, drums, and vocals.
I DO NOT OWN THE PICTURE OR SONG USED IN THIS VIDEO.
