This song doesn't exactly remind of Cabo Wabo or Cabo San Lucas in mexico but it sure does remind me of Cancun, Mexico, parties, spring break season, white sand beaches, girls everywhere and the wicked clubs there (Daddy O's, Tequila Boom, La Boom, The City, Coco Bongos, Christines, BullDogs, Senor Frogs, etc etc) party party party. . Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, when Van Halen 1 was released, the sheer intensity of their effort overshadowed all else at the time. I'm a huge Sammy Hagar fan, but you can't duplicate the experience of playing "1" for the first time through those big KLH's at full volume with a high wattage amp in 1977!
