@terrasdosul Take a look at lyrics then you'll find out why it's called UNblack. The music is only an expression ( which is strong heavy, right) of how those band often put a contrast between good and evil (e.g. Fader Vaar). It would be pointless to equalise Mayhem or Venom to Vaakevandring, Sanctifica or Holy Blood. In short and general, that's how I view this.

@terrasdosul Tottaly agree with you. The music genre was never related to the lyrics or ideals behind it. It was always about the melody, the harmony and the music style. The Black Metal keeps its essence be it Religious or not. Otherwise, would you create Undeath Metal or Life Metal? Undoom Metal or Salvation Metal? Untrash Metal or Recycle Metal? With all the respect, such denominations are frivolous and immature. BTW I'm also Christian, hope everybody understand what I mean in a good way.
