This was the first LP that introduced me to Uriah Heep when I was in the Army in 1976. I now own every one of their recordings up to Firefly on CD. Awesome group. I got to see them live in August of 1977 finally, but by then Byron was gone. Still a great concert that day.

Nobody does a rock ballad like Byron could. His vocals were sublime and are unsurpassed. A REAL legend and sadly missed.

This particular song doesn't have many lead guitar parts... mostly rythym. If you truly want to hear Mick Box, listen to "The Magician's Birthday". There is a "tour-de-force" on that song. That is one of the many reasons that Heep fans will protect the legacy of Mick Box.
