Aw that was so cool to read how you discovered this band. Immediate Uriah Heep fan! I discovered them very young too. Actually took Demons & Wizards to Show & Tell! Here I am now almost 50 and I still completely love this band!

@Sekkingstad And his solo albums contains some UH songs in his own interpretations (doing lead vocals), e.g. If I had the time, Rain and Fotsteps (sic!) in the snow.

I find myself "airdrumming" to this one every time, and i like the bass playing that drives this song forward in a marvelous pace.

@wingman1962 You're right. He also did the vocals for Lady in black, Look at yourself and Firefly.

@Mr12savoybrown Thanks for your comment. Sounds like you have the same taste in music as me. I didn't get to see Uriah heep live but I did get to see Black Sabbath live at Festival hall in Brisbane. Unfortunately Ozzie Osbourne had a soar throat and couldn't do all songs with vocals. But the concert was still great. I luv the heavy metal of the 70's and 80's. Only wish I was rich. I would hold a private party and invite some of the super groups to come and play. Long live HEAVY METAL.

Bill Redford

One of the few songs where Ken Hensley took the lead vocal....

I was 15 at the time and went to the record shop to get my first Heavy Metal Album. The shopkeeper played me a couple of tracks off the Salisbury Album. I became a Uriah Heep Fan for life and that was 35 years ago. Uriah Heep are played regularly at my place. Don't need the drugs or the booze , just feed me the heavy vibes of Uriah Heep and I'm in Heaven.
