Maybe its time for us to debate the merits of the best lineup of Uriah Heep, your favourites as it were. As with Deep Purple people will always give their lineup as Gillan, Blackmore, Paice, Glover and Lord. My favourite Heep lineup will always be Byron, Hensley,Box, Kerslake and Thain.................

I know heep is not the same as they were in the 70's, but you got to admire these guys for their timeless songs. This group of guys would have been just as good in the 70's. I consider bolder as good as thain, nobody will ever compare to Byron, and heck box and kerslake are still knocking the crap out of this music. As for Hensley, well lets leave this one alone nobody can replace Hensley.

started listening to heep , guess i was maybe 14 , got a bunch of there albums, ill be 58 this year , i still rock like never before, this band was a huge influence on my life and career, and songwriting
