Hot dang, Urge Overkill released something as recent as 2010. All this time, I had no idea they came out with anything after Saturation. (In 1993.) The song's still as good as their older stuff, so it's great they still have their brilliant edge.

We LOVE Urge, and miss them so badly here in Canada. THIS SONG ROCKS, and picks up right where they left off. Can't wait to hear the new record!!!! NEVER GIVE UP, UO!!!

@Pantherboy2 It's possible! Although the single came out right before the album, so it's my guess that the 7" version and the LP version are the same, and that they simply decided to add more backing vocals as they were finishing up the album, months after they'd already released the original mp3 of "Effigy" to the public.

I just noticed this isn't the same version of "Effigy" as on the album. The album version is a slightly different, punchier mix, and has group backing vocals. Sneaky, UO.

Pre-ordered the new album on vinyl through the UO website today, came with instant digital download on mp3. The new album is AWESOME. So far, my favorite is "Little Vice".
