Ok, I am all for covering songs, I feel it's a great way to show respect and admiration for an artist's work. That being said, I feel like this particular cover is . . . . . Well, I'll just come right out and say it: a bit too thin. If you go back and listen to it, the vocals are thick, and have a certain level of attitude which I'm just not hearing in you guys work here. Now to those who will inevitably jump down my throat on this, did I say it was bad? No. No I did not. The pitch and intonation of the singers sync up well, and they look like their having a good time. Maybe it is just the style y'all are performing in makes it this way, but it almost feels polite, and that just isn't what Uptown Funk is. Funk and disco aren't polite styles of music, they are hard hitting and energetic, and I'm sorry but I just did not get that from you guys. That being said, you guys are great singers, and should definitely continue your work.
