Slick Rick and Lost Boyz were dope, JD an Camron were wack tho, should of just waited to get Snoop in the video, it would have been serious.

Is this actually Kid Capri? If so, that's amazing. You're a legend.

Oh shit! If you reading this Kid Kapri, thank you for this collab. I met you @ Terminal 5 JFK late last year and asked you about this video... this is a hip hop classic and you def represented by letting Co-Cheeks anchor this track... he rode that beat like only Mr. Cheeks can. Anyone peep Nas during the Cheeks verse? He's @2:34. Classic album, classic video, classic Lost Boyz appearance. Top Notch Hip Hop right here.

this is kid capri, i produced 90 percent of that album, it wasn't a mixtape, this was three songs on my album soundtrack to the streets all combined because i could clear snoop for the video, not snoop's fault. so i made the first video mixtape.

I forgot about this... I had this album back in the day on tape!!! When Cheeks part start is when this song really takes off. Cheeks killed this shit. I'm glad Kid Kapri gave him the anchor and the hottest beat on this. LB IV Life!!!

i know real hip-hop is still alive and just underground now but sometimes i wish i could go back to my youth and never take this era in the late 90s for granted, and why the fuck is mr cheeks is so underrated? cuz he didnt go multi-plat like jay-z and nas? i know he dont got the best rhymes in the world but he shines in other aspects that define an emcee, still, nobody get the house party poppin like mr cheeks and that fire he spits!

oh shit!!! ive been looking for this video since spring of 1999 when i started my under work at san fran state!!! this would always come on local hip-hop stations and i remember thinking mr cheeks should go on a solo career after hearing that verse!! hip-hop was real in the 90s, i was a rapper for 14 years before i took college seriously but damn what a damn time it was!
