Kozelek is one of the best guitar-players in the world - he turns this AC/DC song into his own ...

I pledge that I will not use the words “retard” or “retarded” to mean “stupid.” I understand this word is hurtful to kind, productive, inspirational people. I pledge to take responsibility for the power words have on others – because we all have the power to open hearts and change minds.

Enjoy that. In my younger days, when I was feeling the heavy blues, I'd drive back roads at night and listen to Neil Young's Harvest and After the Gold Rush (the albums, not the songs -- one album on each side of the cassette tape. young ones -- google that). I figured that Neil had a sadder soul than me, and a much more expressive one. These days, I miss being alone...

I think this is a beautiful rendition, truly amazing. Testimony that a strong song can be played in almost any style and still work. Personally, I don't enjoy slavish covers. If that's the case, I'd rather hear the original. But I always have a place in my heart for people who make a song their own, even if I don't like what they do. At least they gave it a shot.

Why would you do this to a perfect AC/DC song? There's no doubt you're talented but this, this is SACRILEGIOUS. How could you do this to BON SCOTT's Memory?

Every time I listen to Mark Kozelek I become quite melancholy.

Agreed...this version also shows how talented Bon Scott's songwriting is! Both AC/DC and Kozelek each give it a singular sound.

Just shows how good Bon Scott was really

I appreciate his enthusiastic attempt, nobody should be without recognition. However....the true feel and sound belongs to the original "boys", if you will. He is asking you, Bon Scott is telling you.
