This is RISE001, its release date was May of 1991. The band that started it off for the label. Ripped from the record since the masters were lost in the mail. 300 7" records were pressed on black vinyl. It was later re-released by Eating Blur Records which was owned by Kevin Seconds (singer of 7 Seconds).

Be Right Back Covers

Actually, live recorded drums is incorrect. Technically, yes these drums are live recorded. But so is allot of stuff rise puts out now a days. However, the drums in current music is actually more real to what a live drum set would actually sound like as if you where standing in the room with the kit. Because just placing mics over drum heads doesn't always get the "true sound" of the drum kit. Close, much closer then pop music. But still not as close as say a ADTR album which is carefully edited

2 vocal tracks (no pitch correction), 2 guitar tracks, 1 bass track and a natural live sounding drum kit. Now compare this with more current Rise bands and you'll see one of the main common problems with modern rock/metal/hardcore/whatever...

Better than any 90's crap on the radio. I stopped listening to the radio. I just listen to Rise
