Hi There, This is a great song. I'm not sure who wrote it but I know that this song was based on Ronnie's childhood when his Dad would carry him up the stairs to tuck him into bed every night he would sing Ronnie a song by this title. Sadly, Ronnie's Mother had MS, the same disease that would eventually claim Ronnie's life. Thankfully he and his brother Stan had a very loving Dad. Oh Great! You're so lucky to get to see Mac, Enjoy it for me too PLEASE! Take Care ~Kathy~ =)

I remember when they were in their element in the late 60's.Steve was living in Saffron Walden in Essex when he died.There was a good turnout for his funeral in Harlow too,R.I.P.Steve,Murray & Family.

takes me back to the 1960's, too, but with my dad reminding me to go up those wooden hills to bedfordshire at the end of a long day. The phrase comes from the title of a Vera Lynn song -- 1930 -- must've been millions of kids hearing those words all across England . . .
