These things r not mutually exclusive. Art can be good & have a label for marketing & organizational purposes because in fact, no art is made in vacuum & comes from a history unless your a lost Romantic waving the banner of "no labels" when that notion was debunked early in the 20th century. All you've done is mandated your own beliefs about some music fans and music criticism at the expense of those fans who unlike u are actually discussing the song & the band. Anti-intellectual elitism.

Country/jazz with heavy fuzz/distortion. Blues influence definitely... The line 'I went down, it wasn't pretty' for one thing, as well as that Telecaster twangy sound.

Maybe its just me being naive (or accurate in vocabulary) but this doesnt sound like noise to me. When I think of "noise rock" I think of anal cunt. This is more like stoner metal ish. It sounds good and hey, maybe it really does classify as "noise" but I still can make out a melody
