An amazing band in any genre, not just Christian circles.

Neat trick. Maintaining a video through almost 2 million views with nigh a static comment. Is it because we all have ears and we all have eyes, and there's no need for comments? Did you know this would happen? Or are we all already home...

People should really give this album a few more spins. It's easily the most underrated album I've ever listened to. It's heavy in a way that's somewhere between metalcore, symphonic movie music, and the chariot at times. They did so many creative and intense things and it's one of, if not the only unedited album I've ever heard.

Underoath is considerably religious metal. A lot of there music "including this song" derives from there beliefs. You can listen to the music and enjoy the sound, and even enjoy the message you feel it brings. But that doesn't change the actual meaning of the song. No need for cocky people to come and smite religious folk. And no need for religious folk to feel the need to defend a song.

Can someone pls give me an explanation to this song and video? I really like this song and I would like to know more meaning behind this song and the video. What I'm really trying to get is when they sing "good god can you still get us a home"

I no longer believe in God, so this song has a complete different meaning to me now.

Good God, if your song leaves our lipsIf your work leaves our handsThen we will be wonders and vagabondsThey will stare and say how empty we areHow the freedom we had turned us up as dead menLet us be cold, make us weakLet us, because we all have earsLet us, because we all have eyesHow they knew that this would happenWe're so run downGood God! Can you still get us home...How can we still get homeI'm not dreamingWe're forgetting our forgiveness

I love Underoath but I wish people would leave their half-hearted insincerities in their heads, if God is real, it WILL NOT BE PROVEN BY A BOOK, don't quote some bullshit passage and pretend to have spiritual, moral or intellectual superiority over anyone. And that "jesus loves you non-believers" shit only makes you "believers" feel better about yourselves, it's self serving. If there is a God im sure it would be more horrified by the actions of its followers than those of the "non-believers".
