Relax, "drift away", and enjoy! Don't forget to comment, rate and share :)

I like to make a whole video to go along with songs. The reason I always do that for my videos is because I know a lot of people who feel better and enjoy the song more when they watch pictures and a video with it, rather than just one picture through the whole song. I hope you all enjoy this and my other videos too!

Mentor Williams wrote the song "Drift Away" and it was originally performed by John Henry Kurtz in his 1972 album "Reunion". Dobie Gray did this song in 1973 and his is the most popular version. Uncle Kracker then performed this in 2003.

A friend of mine also did his own video of this original song, which was by Dobie Gray. Check his out:

*"The people gaze fascinated at one or two familiar superficialities, such as possessions, income, rank and other outworn conceptions. As long as these are kept intact, they are quite satisfied. But in the meantime they have entered a new relation: a powerful social force has caught them up."*-- Adolph Hitler

Rarely and I mean rarely do I ever like a remake of a great song. This one is the exception...largely because they stayed true to the original tune without "jazzing it up" (aka for screwing it up) and also they involved the originator of the song, Dobey Grey's voice was in this song. Great job...original is still my favorite but great remake and makes a close second. :)

I remember the original version by Dobie Grey back in 73! I was awaiting a spl . ct martial . Courtesy of the USMC. Did 8 days in the brig, and back to flite status ! They needed Crew Chiefs for RVN.HMM165. Twist & Turn/ Crash & Burn. Memories @ legal hold in the P.I.

It's great. Just need to get it up in A = 432 Hertz! It's a better tuning than 440 Hertz which is used as the standard tuning today! Look it up!

This is a Damn good Song... Music Lately is going downhill... If you have to Use Autotune.. you're not an Artist.. you're just an asshole that throws random clumps of digital shit together and call it Music..
