This song is a constant reminder of a woman whom I've known for a good while now, but I fell for her a little after mother's day last year, she's in the USMC as a corporal now and doesn't want a serious relationship, more than likely avoiding the risk of hurt because we're 22 and the possibilities of anything happening are endless, but she's the woman I prayed for, and I'll wait for her until the day I die. The year was 1970 stationed over in Okinawa in USAF on ARC- LITE. this song was played a lot in the bars off base near BC alley. Every time I hear this song it brings me right back there. Wondering if she would really wait for me. It guess it was not to be. Great choice of song and played well, with good vocals. Thanks for the memories.Related Videos
