true. Never seen phish, but I like what I hear. Seen UM I think 7 times, first time I was 50...totally sober 15 years, and these guys floor me with their talent. fwiw, I was a deadhead back in the late '70's to mid 80's...and I don't think I would have been if it wasn't for the chemical enhancement. Good peaceful crowd, great tunes (except for space, which eventually became "time to go buy ice cream") but not nearly the skills of UM.

Well said, sir. These dudes have been classically trained through higher learning institutions that are world-class. Anyone dismissing us as a fan-base is probably not even worth our time.

@ReaLizZe7 I'm not a stoner but that assumption is usually true. It's just a deeper sound, lots of stuff going on that you actually have to LISTEN to, a complex sound you can get lost in and roll along with.
