Since WMG (FY!) and there affiliates won't let me UPLOAD the original, this is my favorite cover of the greatest song IMO ever recorded by Black Sabbath by the Norwegian Band Ulver. Lyrics below:

Solitude:

My name it means nothing

my fortune is less

My future is shrouded in dark wilderness

Sunshine is far away, clouds linger on

Everything I possessed - Now they are gone

Oh where can I go to and what can I do?

Nothing can please me only thoughts are of you

You just laughed when I begged you to stay

I've not stopped crying since you went away

The world is a lonely place - you're on your own

Guess I will go home - sit down and moan.

Crying and thinking is all that I do

Memories I have remind me of you

Dedicated Solely to: L.Q.

Darkest Darker

Thank you for this post. I heard many covers of the best Black Sabbath song (we agree on that) but not this one. Maybe I missed it because I stopped listening to Ulver long ago (I like only their early stuff). Anyhow, this is one of the best "Solitude" covers definitely. Thanks again.

Such an atmospheric cover of an deep and dark song. Ulver is wonderful and i agree, this is the best cover.
