Tale opera, peraltro, è l'inizio di un nuovo progetto di più ampio respiro che sfocerà in un ulteriore album denominato Songs of Experience. La copertina dell'album ritrae il batterista del gruppo, Larry Mullen Jr, mentre si stringe attorno la vita del figlio, Aaron Elvis Mullen, come se lo stesse proteggendo. La foto è stata scattata da Glen Luchford. Bono ha dichiarato che la copertina "riflette le nuove canzoni e la loro ispirazione ai primi anni degli U2 da adolescenti a Dublino."Il cantante ha poi concluso:« Gli U2 sono sempre stati come una comunità con famiglia e amici. For those comments below about Bono supporting Monsanto, Bono has NEVER supported Monsanto, and has never been their "spokesperson" as some have claimed. There are fanatical groups on the internet who portray him as an NWO puppet, but they are, well, just that - fanatical. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. The reality is, Africa is a very BIG issue and, as such, there are numerous big name companies involved in the economics (and therefore politics) of Africa and all that entails. Big names bring big money. Like it or not, Monsanto has their hands in just about everything these days, including all our grocery stores in North America. Just because Bono is one of the people involved in Africa, doesn't make him the spokesperson or supporter of Monsanto, just because they are also involved in Africa. The article I read below reads like one of those tabloid cultish "news" sites - almost an advertisement for their agenda. It's time to practice a little discernment before buying into silly rumors all over Facebook and the internet.
