@daddyofisabel I agree, Bush did good with Africa but remember we elect leaders all over the world to do good things for our societies and those less well off in others. We shouldnt put them on any pedalstal and call them great for doing what we elect them for. They are greatly rewarded for the job they do on our behalf. We shouldn't lower our moral compass and call leaders great anytime they show a little humanity towards others.

As Ive gotten older- I've learned that other things should've been my moral compass, like parents, family, teachers, etc. I now appreciate how and why so many kids are led astray- b/c they weren't as lucky as me to chose an 'idol' like these 4 fellows. I am lucky that I chose to follow a group like u2. I thank them, all 4 of them- for remaining humble, true and just in their doings. Easy to go otherwise- and after all these years- I love them, truly, like the brother I never had.

Everyone has imperfections, such as Bono, and it's easy to talk about his imperfections to create a bad image of him. Bono made some mistakes, but they are so few that doens't affect the great human being he is.
