The preset of my RP 80 on this one is: Pickup/Wah - OFF, Compressor - 11, Amp Model - U1, Noise Gate - G9, Chorus/Mod - OFF, EQ - b5, d6, t5, Delay - d9 / 420 ms, Reverb - H5. Guitar - I played the bridge pickup, the tone knob in the position 7.

HappyStrat24Your sound is awesome and sounds just like what the Edge is doing in this song. I was wondering what you were using for the amp sound. I realize there are tricks to what Edge is doing with the delay, two delays from what I understand. I'm trying to also replicated this sound with an Eleven rack, but have not succeeded yet. I have heard that Edge is using Vox 30's, but then again I have heard other things too. I do not have a strat, so that is probably one thing that takes away from the sound, I have Gibson humbuckers on a Schecter, which are probably too hot for that sound.Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated, you have definitely homed in on the sound.Gman11 years ago
