@Terryodo2 , yo, this vid recording performance is 2.26.1980, not 1979. It's verified, confirmed, authorized, legitimized, pulverized, ad infinitum. So, we're curious where you got the idea of 1979. And, they didn't sign that night, though they were offered by Island. U2 said, "no, we want this, that,....", and so they signed at some later date soon after.

yes it is off a radio show I have it. Love all that early U2 stuff. Have very primitve recordings from radio and even taped off the TV to my cassette recorder! Great to have though. Must attempt to post here....

Some guy had(perhaps still has) a webpage devoted this song recording, which I saw a couple years ago. It went to his heart. Check out Silver Lining from the same show for that matter, though the intro is cut out.

Yes, a very primitive Electric Co. circulated amongst U2 collectors since that time, but wasn't included in the concert radio broadcast apparently, though it is on the U2 Story radio interview from 1982, as I recall. I've got it on cassette.

@ToolsnFire have on cassette, my god, great to hear here. thanks. the electric co. great from this concert too, can kinda hear Bono's early accent during the song when he ad libs at end.
