U2 perform a rare version of Mothers of the Disappeared during the Pomart Tour in Santiago, Chile with the actual mothers on stage with the band. Bono allows them to say the names of their loved ones during the song. Awesome.

I just watched this again and am in tears for my stupid comment below, god bless these unfortunate mothers and I really hope they get comfort and justice.

As a teenage U2 fan in the 80s U2 taught me much more about life than any school or teacher could ever teach me . To me one of the greatest U2 songs off all time . I admire U2 how they tell story's in songs and make me aware of what is going on in this world !!

One of Bono's best written lyrics. "In the wind you hear their laughter, in the rain you see their tears" is my favourite phrase. Serious spine chills.

I love this song but I feel Bono is milking the emotions of those poor folk that really did have relatives that disappeard.Bono latches on to every situation that oppresses but I don't see him lumping up £ big to sort things out - fcuking hypocrite.Got a good voice though.

It's hard to listen to this song understanding what happened during the Dirty War. I can not imagine what those who are friends or family of the disappeared have gone/ are going through. U2 is a great band.
