I was there but on the outside of Sun Devil Stadium. I could feel the vibes even out there.

Noticed that JT '17 Bono doesn't have a Guitar, The Edge plays it all. Bass Guitar still there..

I love this version. The version from Denver that was used in the film Rattle and Hum is still the best to me.

This is the pinnacle of U2. Everything since has been blatantly commercial and interested only in money and fame.

U2 could've had a purely artistic career had they stuck with interesting work like this. They could've been side by side with Radiohead. I guess U2 decided that politics was too important to ignore. Mass appeal was more important. Maybe that's not a bad thing. After all, they were called upon after 9/11 and when America's first black president was elected. :)

This song really came alive in concert. Didn't care for it on the recorded album until I heard it live.

Real shame this will never be played by U2 again. Was a great track live. :-(

Great clip! I recall this song was a highlight of the Glasgow and Edinburgh gigs in 1987 - great lights for the chorus part (well, where a chorus usually is!!) indoors at the SECC, from memory it was still daylight/twilight at Murrayfield so the lights weren't as effective there but a great song nonetheless, followed by 'in god's country' in the set if I remember correctly....

If only the director realized it's a concert... no a studio performance... not a single shot FROM the audience... looks like they're playing to no one! U2 is always about connection, here there is none of it.... apart from that great footage! Wish they would play Exit on SOI tour

Can't beat the classics. Would love to hear Exit live on the SOI tour.
