The man is a technical genius but he's an average guitarist, but his talent is with effects

technically quite easy ... just goes to show how much emotion, timing and touch can make what may look like blown glass into crystal.

The song just was never finished in the studio. It evolved.

I would like to see the Edge play and at the same time make fun of Bono's douchiness on stage along with his massive ego. What a twat that guy can be.

Comparison solos compilations are great. One can see how the musician changes or for that matter does not change solos night after night. Alot of it is the feeling at the moment. Sometimes the audience can sense it, sometimes not.As far as comments of 'he is THE greatest'...'best guitarist ever' etc etc You cannot put one over the other. Do take them each for what they bring to music. We all have our favorites but do not force them onto others in arguments and put downs of other musicians and their fans. Yes cherish your favorites for they connect with you personally. BUT Take all of their contributions to music as a whole.

The Edge may be #24, but he can play any solo by #s 1-23. None of them can play his; let alone out sing him.

The vertigo one is missing the drive of the others. My favourite was probably either ZooTV or PopMart
