well, there is no such genre, like how ye call it, 'viking metal'. c'mon, use your logic a bit. You can write and sing about vikings but it's absurd to call it viking metal, when viking didn't know what metal was. Please..

@Inngrown Very true brother, at the very least he still contributes some bad ass drumming! It's just a bit of a contradiction for me, but I know where my heart is as far as religion and he knows where his is so whatever, I'm not going to judge unless I want to be judged. Tyr will be a great band nonetheless

@Prelude1383 yeah it is for sure, nobody's perfect. I don't think it's a big deal though for a christian drummer to celebrate his nordic heritage in a viking metal band. To me it's more about the music anyway.
