@TheBaneOfAmbiguity You realize that these "so-called" barbarians were a lot more civilized than you think. The Average Viking was a farmer, not the demonized Vikings that everyone hears of. Yes, there were the Berserkrs, who were very savage, but only under a different state of mind. If you knew something about these "barbarians" you would realize that they were one of the first Northern Europeans to have an established parliament-type government. Iceland started it.

Those people who "civilized" barbarians, made such horrible destruction in their original culture based on the Asatru/Odinist religion. The original Norse people were awesome, full of genius. Egill Skalla-Grimsson created his first Skaldic poems and was an excellent horse rider as a 3 years old little boy. At 7 he could kill (in a duel) his first enemy --- a 14 years old youngster. A scary but brilliant character, isn't it? Leif Ericsson discovered Vinland nearly 500 years before Columbus...

@MrFlue I. Didn't say one bad thing about Danish. What i said was that Faroese beats the living shit out of Danish. That's all, Which is btw a proven fact.

@TheAzathor loads and loads of there songs are in faroese, i believe 1/3 of their songs are in Faroese. all of their non-English songs, exempt the these tre songs: "Brennivín"; which is icelandic, and "Ramund hin Unge" "Sinklars Vísa"; which are in really old-school Danish and at the same time a modern "accent" of Faroese people when they speak Danish. Song In faroese, by Týr that i dene highly noteworthy are: Tórstein Kvæði, Stýrisvølurin, Túrið Tórkilsdóttir, and of course Regin Smiður.

@EcoFascist You gotta see what it symbolises lol >.> It's the dualism, they forced people to obey the Christian church's rules etc.. And they're chopping the cross down..
