TYR's video "Hail to the Hammer" was shot on the Faroe Islands. While the Western winds ravage the cliffs, they still rise steeply from the sea to the sky. The air shots are taken from an Atlantic Airways helicopter over Tindholm and Trælanípu (legend has it, that from these cliffs were thrown slaves, no longer of use to their masters).

4224 frames for a video of 284 seconds comes out to a mediocre 15 fps and at 320x240 resolution makes the video barely watchable. This is such an epic song. Even all these years later this remains among my most favorite folk metal songs. Only Thor has the might to break this dichotomy.7 years ago
