I've been struggling with depression and anxiety since I was seven years old. It went away around the time I was ten and came back when I was twelve. Someone I'm very close to is battling depression and and every day I'm afraid to loose them. Sometimes I just don't know what to do cause I know that if they'd leave I wouldn't know what to do with myself. This honestly makes me think of how i have a friend who jokes about suicide alot and takes it as a joke- but yet she cuts herself, on her shoulders and i believe on her thighs, i know she may make jokes about it, but i know on the inside she is struggling with something, and it makes me wonder, how many of my other friends are making jokes about it, to cover up what they are going through- or in general how many of my friends are suicidal.
