Personally I find that something really changed after Ass Cobra, before '96 they were like heavier and I prefered them, everywhere I read that Apocalipse Dudes is their top album but I don't like that glam-like sound they took after it.

I just like the way their songs are created, something between dark humor, critizism of the world and sex or just stupid nonsense. I guess the quote "cracking a joke in the guillotine" fits really well to that pattern.

cos they've lost their roots. in an interview i saw they said "we started in 1995..." and so they only really count ass cobra or anything with euroboy in it as a turbonegro release. i liked turbonegro's stuff before 1995.
