i didnt say shit on why you changed your opinion. and thats where it originated yeah just because they had headbangers in later bands doesnt mean it came from them. i doubt people "headbanged" at surf rock shows or older bands... i didnt say judas priest was classic rock. but yeah Led Zeppelin was considered and still is considered Heavy Metal.. but they are classic rock now.. because 1. they are rock. and 2. they are an older band. = Classic...

Lol, tryin to tell ME the reason that I have actually changed my view on punk? That's funny. And the term "head bangers" didn't just come from Zeppelin's shows man. And I'm genuinly curious, what similarities do Blink-182 and ATR share? I've yet to hear, or at least notice them. And your last statement would be like calling Judas Priest classic rock now because there are heavier metal bands around now. Judas Priest is, and always will be heavy metal, heavier modern music doesn't change that fact

yeah because punk n metal are very similar... ive heard similarities between blink 182 (considered least punk) and All That Remains. and when Led Zeppelin was around they WERE considered heavy metal (the term head bangers came from guys at their shows bangin their heads) they are classic rock NOW because of ONE: they were from the late 60s. TWO: there is HEAVIER metal now

First off, that comment was a fucking year ago, no need to live in the past. Secondly, Led Zeppelin wasn't metal and although a lot of metal bands respect, idolize, and take influence from them because they did have insanely good music, they don't wish to "be" Led Zeppelin. And they don't rip off riffs from them. And within this past year since my comment, I've developed an acceptance for punk, though I don't like most of it I do however like some. Just sayin.

love Ska the most. especially with punk but i love all ska/reggae so yeah... nice being an asshole. Iron Maiden says they hate punk. but they do sound very punk lols and this has been said millions of times. and like i said metal is good but some of the vocals just gets dumb as hell

lolololol... dont give people shit on taste cuz they like punk... i fucking love punk. i love metal (theres a certain metal that just gets dumb) i love ska, i love reggae, i love classical, countrys okay, i love folk, raps okay, i love international music, i love jazz, i love funk, i love blues, i love classic rock... (lots of punk bands use riffs from led zeppelin songs) lots of metal bands wish they could be led zeppelin...

Look at how old that comment is dude lol since then I may not have developed a linking for punk music, I understand that some people do enjoy it. I myself can't get into it, at all, but it's whatever lol.

Punk and Metal are two sides of the same coin, the biggest Metallica's influence is a punk rock band (The Misfits). I think that you are one of that guys, that when goes to a friend house, and someone put a music you don't like, you just cross up your arms, making sure that everybody knows your discontempt. People are discussing music here, and you are just being a narrow minded. Listen some Ramones and Pistols, they have metal influences too, its not just Epica.

I think this was a better line-up for them. Wish they were still around.

@Saccrifix I'm not sticking up for this band but I'd rather hear it than the shit u call "good taste". I visited ur page and witnessed what you consider good. I'll be easy on u being ur a teen and we grown-ups know how shitty teenager music is, but the shitty bands u call "metal" are just a carbon-copy of the one before that actually originated it's style by borrowing the sped-up tempo from PUNK. "Core" is just a rip-off of punk and REAL metal and it is in fact horrible. Look it up and grow up!
