Yaw remember Petworth band, before Ayre Rhade came out? Good days! It's a well known fact that Rick Rubin listened to go go, he produced a lot of the early music from Def Jam. He used a lot of trouble on some the Beastie Boys  and LL's music,  but a lot of sampling went on back then until Biz Markie got sued and standards were set, a lot of the older artists just wait until the song has ran it's course to so they can have a better law suit, the Ohio Players did the same thing to Biggie and Puff and a lot less of their music was used on that song. As hip hop fans we may not like it but legally it is stealing, recently Pharrell and Robin Thicke ,
