Widow's Weeds (1998) track 8

I mourn thee by dusk

I mourn thee by dawn

Crave for thy gloss

to seek the silent glades beyond

precious a glance

thy veils now unfold

tearfull she dance

into this nightfall I behold

Grieve at night

Thy bereavement and thy loss in life

Grieve by day

Thy devotion and thy pass away

Beyond the veils of dawn

from where she Siren calls

The sunset seize within as I walk

Through velvet dusk and dawn

condemned to rise and fall

So grievous through the night she calls

the beauty I once lost

I mourn thee my beloved

Far beneath thy heavens lost

where I once pale and cold

beheld thy rarest rose

if i had the option to choose between a gig o tristania for that album it would be really hard to choose if i would prefer to watch it in a huge stadioum with the 29.207 viewers or in a small hotest metal club of the neighborhood with the 129 who liked it :S hmmmm

Peace inside of me, inside of me is lost Inside of me, inside of me at dawn Within a widow, the picture of loss Painful was the night within the light... or something really close to that. no latin on this song. try on the Beneath the Veil and World of Glass albums, though.

Few years ago this song was one of my favourites, and 5 years later I got excited when I listened to it once more...

its songs like these that can be called music. not all this whining bullshit called rock. or that stupid "try to get laid" rap.

This inside of me, Inside of me is lost, Inside of me at dawn That is what I understand to the girl that sings at 3:33

sorry for deleting a comment, that was just a mistake. anyway, that's pretty much the same i do understand, but it probably just sounds similar to some latin stuff because that thing is probably sung in Latin :)

time, since it's only been written. Some people try to speak it, but how are we really supposed to know what's the real Latin? And in addition as you said she sings too high...

Ok, the Latin of the Church is usually the Roman version of Latin, pr the one which in Italian is called 'mediolatino' which is something like Middle Latin, which recalls the Middle Ages, but I'm pretty sure it's not cause that version of Latin was way too mixed with the new languages that were growing. So it's problably Roman Latin, and I also know Latin; moreover, my mother tongue is Italian, but it's difficult to understand what is said of a language that no one ever really spoke in our

I'm pretty sure it's Church Latin. (AKA: Screwed up version of Latin the Catholic church used) I DO know Latin, but she's singing so high that I can't understand what she's saying at all. So, sorry, I don't think anyone will be able to translate it.
