To D64nz - "Bill" was the rock-rockinest best. I was lucky enough to be in college at U of N Texas during the Daisy's hey day. Saw them live from mere feet away at least ten times. If you got into them from this album you should go back to "Bill" if you didn't already, and then you MUST experience "Jesus Hits Like the Atomic Bomb!" from beginning to end! It was their next (and unfortunately last) album. Incredible growth and imagination on that album. Soon after that, Wes (the guitarist) passed away, and with him so did Daisy. I miss them a ton. God bless Tim and The Polyphonic Spree, but it just ain't the same!

I know, right?? TD was awesome. 'I Got A Girl' SUCKED compared to every single other song they had. Not their fault though, the biz is likely to blame for that. The general public has shitty taste, so they put out the most simplistic work of any given artist so it's more likely to be absorbed. This song blows me away though...wow.

@dargis49 I bet you are the kind of person that like would like the LA Clippers just to be different. "I Got a Girl" is a great tune along with many other ones from this band.

This reminds me of College at Texas Tech. I remember spending summers in Dallas and seeing Daisy head line some big local shows. 50K thousand ppl would attend a show of TD and The Todies. Ahh... Tim DeLaughter, Wes Bergren and some hacky Sack... a good weed buzz and no worries. I miss those simplier times.
