Tricky is back with a new album and his own record label, both bearing the name False Idols. Like much of the album, 'Tribal Drums' features vocalist Francesca Belmonte - this time backed up by Tristan Cassell. As early reviews have stated, the album is a stirring return to form from Tricky. False Idols comes out May 27th (International) and May 28th (USA) on False Idols in association with !K7 Records, and also features vocals from Nneka, Peter Silberman (of The Antlers), and Fifi Rong.
